Chhattisgarh
Board of Secondary Education is the board of education for the state of
Chhattisgarh. It is abbreviated as CGBSE. It was established in 2000. It is a
state agency of government of Chhattisgarh and headquartered in Raipur
district.
The board
has various committees to look after the education system in Chhattisgarh. The
committees are as follows--

Executive Committee

Finance Committee

Result Committee

Examination Committee

Recognition Committee

Teachers Welfare Fund Committee
VII.
Curriculum (Curriculum) Committee
The main
objective of the board is to conduct high school, Higher Secondary board,
Higher Secondary School (Occupational), Physical Training Diploma, D.Ed.
certification exams.

Ø Higher Secondary School leaving

Ø Higher Secondary (Professional)

Correspondence).
Ø Diploma in Physical Education.
The board
helps the government in construction of proposed curriculum and textbooks and
conduct examination based on that curriculum. The board always encourages and
motivates the students and teachers for excellence and has a tradition to
distribute awards to the students who secured top ten positions in the merit
list of the board examination.
