JKBOSE Board Exam 2015

JKBOSE Board
JKBOSE is acronym for the Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education. It was established in 1975 and entrusted with the responsibilities to maintain the education system in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The JKBOSE is the main board of education in J & K. The board has different committees to manage the overall education system. Some of these committees are—


§  Recognition Committee for granting or withdrawing the recognition of schools ;
§  Finance Committee for the finanacial matters like fee, salary of employees and  other expenses;
§  Committee for Examination to schedule examination and declare result timely;
§  Committee for Development and Research for the projects and training are provided for the projects.
§  Academic Committee for managing all academic issues like scholarship programs, awards , course  of interaction, text books, framing syllabi , study material etc.
§  Building and Construction Committee mainly deals with the infrastructure of the affiliated schools. The committee conducts inspection to the schools.


§  Committee for Scrutiny and Disposal of Unfair means Cases
§  Committee for Examination of Complaints about Question Papers.

JKBOSE aims to nurture every student so that he reached at their highest potential. Like other boards JKBOSE also conduct secondary and higher secondary examination twice in a year. 

Jharkhand Board Exam 2015

Jharkhand Board Exam 2015: -
The State of Jharkhand came into existence on the 15th of November,2000.  Earlier Jharkhand was the part of Bihar state. The board of education in Jharkhand was established in the year 2003 to improve the literacy rate in this Indian state. This board of education is named as the Jharkhand academic council. The council was established for conducting the public examination. The council conducts the examination twice in a year, as all the other state boards do. The Jharkhand academic council conducts examination for the following—


·       Intermediate Education i.e.  10th standard
·       Secondary Education i.e. 12th standard
·       Sanskrit Education i.e. the vocational course in Sanskrit.
·       Madrasa Education, an Islamic religion education institute.
It aims to enable every student throughout the Jharkhand state to get their fullest potential and improve the condition of this twenty-eighth state of India. The council affiliates public as well as private school in Jharkhand.



The council also conducts many training programs, oriented courses and workshop for the teachers, so that they do not have any difficulty in teaching the CBSE course. The Jharkhand follows guidelines of CBSE to manage the education system in Jharkhand. The CBSE recognize all the exams conducted by the Jharkhand academic council.

ICSE Board Exam 2015

ICSE Board
The abbreviated form ICSE stands for Indian certificate of secondary education conducts examination under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on which is a private, non governmental board of education in India. The council was headquartered in New Delhi .The medium of education in ICSE schools is only English and considerably tougher and detailed than other boards.


ICSE board is good for those who are planning to move abroad after few years as this board focuses on English. Relying on text books only is not sufficient for the students of ICSE board they need to prepare more as their performance is also based on assignments and extra curriculum activities.
The board offers subjects that are divided into three groups;
·       Group A includes Compulsory Subjects - English, History, Civics & Geography, and Indian Language.

·       In Group B candidate choose any two from Mathematics, Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Commercial Studies, Technical Drawing, A Modern Foreign Language, A Classical Language and Economics.
·       In Group candidate choose any one from Computer Applications, Economic Applications, Commercial Applications, Art, Performing Arts, Home Science, Cookery, Fashion Designing, Physical Education, Technical Drawing Applications, Yoga, and Environmental Applications.
ICSE board conducts following three examinations;
·       ICSE i.e. Indian Certificate of Secondary Education for class 10th.
·       ISC i.e. Indian School Certificate for class 12th.
·       CVE i.e. Certificate of Vocational Education to prepare candidates for specific vocation.
The private students are not permitted to appear for any of the above mentioned examinations


Himachal Pradesh Board Exam 2015

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is government agency of Himachal Pradesh which holds the responsibilities of prescribing courses of instructions and text books and conducting examinations for secondary school students in Himachal Pradesh. The board is abbreviated as HPBOSE. It was formed in 1969 and has its headquarters in Dharmshala in Kangra District. More than 8000 schools are affiliated with the board and around 500,000 candidates appear for the exam every year.


The board manages the secondary education system in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It includes the granting and withdrawing of reconization of schools, lay down the guidelines for the examination, the school rule, timing, holidays and vacations, also help government in academic matters,promotions, teacher’s qualification for recruitement, scholarships programs, awards etc.



The board motivates the teachers and students to strive for the excellence. In addition to the 8th class, 10th class and 12th class examination and result declaration, the H.P board also conducts some departmental examination like Junior Basic Training (J.B.T), Teachers Training Course (TTC). 
Approximately 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in these examination conducted by the Board.

Haryana board of education is the state authority of the government of Haryana to conduct the public examination for the middle, secondary and senior secondary level through the affiliated schools. The board was established in 1969 at Chandigarh but later shifted to Bhiwadi.


The Haryana board of education is the first to adopt the semester system in session 2006-2007 and also the first to introduce the relative grading and CCE in all board classes. Like other state boards, Haryana board of education also conduct examination twice a year, one being an annual exam and other as supplementary for those who failed in main board examination.

Gujarat Board Exam 2015

Gujarat Board;

GSHSEB is acronym as Gujarat Secondary and higher secondary education board. It was formed in 1960 responsible for the policy of education system in the Indian state of Gujarat. As other states boards, Gujarat board is also popular in its state. The responsibilities of the board are categorized into three parts—
·       Academics
·       Examinations
·       Research and development


ACADEMIC include the curricula & syllabi for secondary schools, prescribing Text Books, managing the school timing, holidays, vacations, promotion rule , supervision of the recognized schools in the state, guiding government in other academic matters.


EXAMINATIONS include conducting Main and Supplementary public examinations. The board conducts examination every year in March and October, for SSC (Std 10th) and HSC (Std 12th). The SSC examination is conducted for more than 7 lakh students. The HSC examination is conducted for more than 2 lakh students. The Board also conducts a Talent Search for students of Std VIII & IX in five major subjects every year in which nearly 35,000 students participated.
Board also conducts following examinations on behalf of Gujarat  government every year or whenever needed.


1. GUJCET for medical and engineering admissions in Gujarat state for science 12th pass students  every year in April month.
2. Teachers Aptitude Test (TAT) for Head Masters, Higher Secondary Teachers and Secondary teachers for secondary/higher secondary schools.


RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT --This division takes up research projects, and publishes research papers. The division conduct training for the inspection and other functionaries in of Secondary Education.

The Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is the main state board of education native to the state of Goa. The board was established in 1975 and responsible for the management of secondary and higher secondary education in its affiliated schools.


Major Functions/duties  performed by the Goa Board are as follows--
ü Granting and withdrawing the recognition to the Schools.
ü Helps  the government on policy related to education in general and other matters
ü Prescribe curricula and syllabi for the entire secondary and higher secondary schools .

ü Prepare the detailed syllabi for secondary and higher secondary education.
ü Lay down the standard requirement in respect of staff, buildings, furniture, equipment, stationery and other amenities required for secondary and higher secondary schools.



ü Prepare text-books for all standards of secondary and higher secondary education.
ü Schedule the examination.
ü Declare the results of the candidates at the final examinations conducted by it
Goa board conducts examination twice a year--

1.    Std X in months of March and October
2.    Std XII in the months of March, June and October.

Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education is the board of education for the state of Chhattisgarh. It is abbreviated as CGBSE. It was established in 2000. It is a state agency of government of Chhattisgarh and headquartered in Raipur district.

CBSE is acronyms for Central Board of Secondary Education. It is a board of education almost in all states of India and headquartered in New Delhi. CBSE affiliates public schools like all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and most of the private schools. The board conducts examination for 10th and 12th as well as many competition exams like JEE for the aspirants of engineering and AIPMT for medical aspirants and NET for junior research fellowship and many more. Now CBSE is the largest exam conducting body in the world. The board has many statuary committees which supervises the function of board. Some of these committees are:


·       Finance committee for the revision of rates of fees, payments for work  pertaining to exam and affiliation.

·       Examinations committee for the date and duration of paper, maximum/minimum marks/ criteria appointment of paper setters.

·       Affiliation committee for granting affiliation to schools and colleges, set qualification for teachers, constituting inspection panels etc.

·       Curriculum committee for renewal and modifying the curriculum in schools.


The overall supervision of the board is under the Controlling Authority, Government of India, and Ministry of Human Resource Development which provides rules and regulations for the governing committees.
To execute the function effectively the board set up regional offices in different parts of the country to be more responsive to schools which are affiliated to CBSE.
