JKBOSE Board
JKBOSE is acronym
for the Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education. It was established
in 1975 and entrusted with the responsibilities to maintain the education
system in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The JKBOSE is the main board of
education in J & K. The board has different committees to manage the
overall education system. Some of these committees are—
§ Recognition Committee for granting or
withdrawing the recognition of schools ;
§ Finance Committee for the finanacial
matters like fee, salary of employees and
other expenses;
§ Committee for Examination to schedule
examination and declare result timely;
§ Committee for Development and Research
for the projects and training are provided for the projects.
§ Academic Committee for managing all
academic issues like scholarship programs, awards , course of interaction, text books, framing syllabi ,
study material etc.
§ Building and Construction Committee
mainly deals with the infrastructure of the affiliated schools. The committee
conducts inspection to the schools.
§ Committee for Scrutiny and Disposal of
Unfair means Cases
§ Committee for Examination of
Complaints about Question Papers.
JKBOSE aims to
nurture every student so that he reached at their highest potential. Like other
boards JKBOSE also conduct secondary and higher secondary examination twice in
a year.
